Week 4

After analyzing your main character in a closer manner, you should now be able to compare and contrast that character with the main character from the class read. In an H-chart or in paragraph form, compare and contrast these two characters. Determine which one you identify the most with and why. 

 My character Dracula is way different then the other character Frank. Frank is green,soiled,shes a monster,her dad put her together,needs to be charged,15 days old,shes smart and there more thing. Dracula is a vampire, tricks people,

Week 3 RR? - Understanding my character(s)

You must use at LEAST 2 quotes from the book.

Understanding your character is a good way for you to really get into your book and see from another person's perspective. In your response this week, describe your character. Think about and discuss:

-1. your main character's personality

- 2. how they act/behave

- 3. what they look like

- 4. how old they are

- 5 what sort of education do you think that they have

- 6 who their friends and family are

- 7 what their financial (money) situation is

- 8 and what their job is (if they have one)    
   
I  am barely starting Dracula by Michael Burgan . My main character Dracula is smart because he knows how to trick people so he can kill them (pg 6 -13) the has told Jonathan ''Go anywhere you wish Mr.Harer but please,do not disturb any locked rooms'' and Jonathan siad ''Why is the count keeping me here''.

  Review the book description found on the back cover of your book. Using the information, and this information alone, construct two alternate titles for the book that appeal to you.Pick one of the two titles and create a catch phrase and movie poster. Describe (using language that will explain what you are talking about so that we can "see" it) the movie poster to sell the new titled novel.


On business trip Transylvania, Jonathan Harker  stays at an eerie castle owned by a man named count Dracula. When stranges things start to happen, Harker investigates and finds the count sleeping in a coffin! Harker isn't safe, and when the count escapes to London,neither are his friends.

  The book I"m reading is SWIPED by Michele Marin Bossley,which was first published in the United States in 2006. The genre of this book is  mystery.I know this because trever and hes friends are  trying to find out who stold their lunchs.The cover of the book is really bright color and the letters   are hot pink and a girl is the cover is holding a yellow book and she wearing a hot pink sweater . The characters in the book that I am reading are Nick, Robyn, Cray, and Ms. Pringle. I met Nick in pg.1.

  As we are reading poetry and looking at various parts of poems, can you notice some of the same figurative language in your independent reading? Using your notes from this week, give examples of each of the parts of figurative language we've been discussing.   You may not find all types.
